— Ready for some red hot romance!? —

CONGRATULATIONS to Ally and Forrest, whose downtown Nashville engagement session was one of the hottest of the summer!  Actually, it was one of the coolest days of the summer (you know, 85 instead of 95), and we seriously rescheduled their engagement session once because of the heat index being over 100.  So, on our 2nd attempt at their portraits, nothing was going to stop us… especially because their wedding is less than 3 weeks away!!

Having a downtown Nashville engagement session definitely has it’s perks.  There’s certainly no shortage of incredible backdrops and photo spots.  Rooftop bars, neon lights, historic buildings, modern architecture, and a beautiful riverfront to name a few.  Ally and Forrest showed me a few of their favorite spots (they LOVE enjoying evenings on the rooftop terrace at Rock Bottom on Broadway).  We used a few of their ideas, but I could seriously photograph these two anywhere!!  In fact, one of my favorite images from this shoot has a dumpster in the background.  Does. not. matter.  🙂  They are absolutely beautiful people and their love is fiery and infectious.  Perfect combination for me to create breathtaking engagement photos like the ones you’ll see below!
