Cotton field engagement session
Nashville engagement and wedding photographer Melanie Grady
Congratulations Christine and Rich!!
Can I pretty pretty please have a cotton field engagement session with all of my brides and grooms – to be? It’s just not fair that the beautiful white cotton fields are only in bloom for a few weeks in the fall. They are GORGEOUS, y’all. My friends in the northeast have serious photography location envy when they see these. The cotton is unique! It makes for a white field with an incredible soft texture, and I just can’t get enough of it. My clients can’t get enough of it. We are very lucky to have the Sam Davis Home in Nashville. It’s a historic treasure (built in 1810) sitting on 168 serene acres. Head over to their website if you like history because his story is really interesting. With 100 acres of cotton in the fall, I’m there multiple times per week!
Christine and Rich’s wedding is in 2 DAYS! I absolutely had to blog about their engagement session before the big day, so here it is. You’ll see in the images below how in love they are… and how damn good looking they are. They completely rocked their engagement photos! I’ve felt extremely lucky to be working with them since the first time I met Christine (and her mom – Hey Sue!) at my studio over a year ago. Rich and Christine are a match made in heaven, and I’m getting super giddy about this upcoming Saturday! If they look this amazing for their engagement session, just try to imagine what they’ll look like in their wedding best. If you’re not going to be attending the wedding, be sure to check back here for their wedding blog post, and follow us on Facebook to see a few sneak peeks of their day.
