This Scarritt Bennett wedding ceremony and Boundry reception was absolutely perfect. The spring day brought us rain, but with an April wedding, that’s no surprise. The spring blossoms on all of the trees made up for the cloud coverage and the wet ground!! There’s also something to be said for taking outdoor portraits in tuxedos and gowns with umbrellas… it was a blast! Helen and Shaun live in Washington, DC and are in the event industry, so their experience and attention to detail made the day even more incredible. They definitely made the right choice by hiring one of the best Nashville wedding planners, Ashley Reed, to help plan, design, and flawlessly execute their dream wedding day.

Scarritt Bennett’s Wightman Chapel is historic, timeless, and elegant, and having the reception at Boundry added another historic venue with modern flair and really beautiful copper details. I must say it was a great choice!! (and walkable from the chapel – Ideal )

Helen and Shaun’s deep love for each other is infectious and so beautiful to witness. My favorite part of the entire day was when Shaun surprised Helen by serenading her at the reception. His secret plan was so sweet and even all of his groomsmen and friends participated. Helen looked like the happiest woman in the world. These are the moments that will be talked about for generations and will be so fondly remembered by looking at these photos. I’m so happy that I was chosen to capture it all for them.
