Who doesn’t love a rustic fall Tennessee wedding? This one will have you fighting with all of the other brides who are booking their weddings during the new most popular wedding month of October!
Taylor and Ryan are the best kind of opposites—they’re complementary puzzle pieces. They’re so pleasantly surprised all the time by how they balance each other in the most happily unexpected ways. Of course they’re not all that different—they share a silly sense of humor and you’ll always find them laughing. They both fell in love with the rustic seclusion and charm of Evins Mill at first sight, and rented the inn for their wedding weekend to slow the hustle of our modern lives (and weddings). The sounds of rushing water and a crackling fireplace set a tranquil tone for what commonly becomes a really hectic day.
Evins Mill was a gem for me. It’s like an oasis for artists, and we didn’t even scratch the surface of it’s beauty. With little time for portraits, we weren’t able to explore much of the land for photographs, but it really didn’t matter. With Taylor & Ryan’s good looks, great personalities, and love for each other – and their awesome bridal party – we didn’t need anything more than what was right around us. I hope you enjoy!

To be honest… I was a little afraid to step foot on that bridge. So, I didn’t. lol
Studs. All of them. Studs.
THIS DRESS. oh my gosh, this dress. (and her lashes) Perfection.
This has to be the prettiest shrug I’ve ever seen, too.
Oh how I love first looks. Especially this one.
it’s hard not to get emotional, myself, while capturing these moments
such a gorgeous couple!
It’s almost too perfect of a bridal party photo. Everything and everyone came together to create the most beautiful elegant but rustic fall look.
Those deep blues and reds, the leaves, the rusty metal, broken wood, vines, floor length gowns, and grey suits… I’m obsessed.
The day wouldn’t be complete without the adult flower girl and canine ring bearer. How could you leave that pup at home?

So, this is the spot where they were supposed to get married… the weather was very unpredictable with heavy rain on and off all day, so the ceremony was moved to the back porch of the Inn overlooking the water. We were very fortunate that there was a good break in the rain, which gave us enough time to take portraits outside.
This ivy. Yum yum yum.
heavens to betsy… they are so adorable!

Definitely one of the coolest and most unique cakes I’ve ever seen at a wedding.

A great time had by all!
and then the dance party broke out on the patio!
Grandma love… my favorite.
This was the best way to end our 2015 wedding season – a really great couple and a beautiful outdoor Tennessee wedding.
Wishing many many years of love and laughter to Taylor and Ryan! Thank you so much for having us capture this most incredible day in your lives.
