Megan and David were the perfect match for me and my first year as a Nashville wedding photographer. I remember meeting with Megan and her parents here at a local Nashville Panera Bread during my first week or two living here in TN. Once I met them, I knew that I had to shoot their wedding! Her parents had traveled from Pittsburgh (their hometown – AND mine, too!). I immediately hit it off with them and felt so AT HOME and COMFORTABLE with them. If there was going to be a cookie table in Nashville, I better be the one to be there and photograph it (not that I would eat any or take home a dozen at the end of the night. wink wink).
This wedding was absolutely amazing in every way. Megan and David are the perfect match. As soon as you meet them you can tell that they are not only in love, but also best friends. They love a good libation and the city of Nashville, so it was fitting to have their engagement session at The City Winery (and I’ll blog about that soon).
Fine fluffy cotton adorned the gentlemen’s lapel in their boutonniere. The ladies wore floor length navy gowns and had cotton, baby’s breath, lavender, wheat, and succulents in their bouquets. The Enchanted Florist did the most amazing job with everything, including creating a garden feel inside the industrial ONE Cannery Row. Their stunning portraits were taken on Vanderbilt’s campus and also on Nashville’s Pedestrian Bridge downtown. Megan and David are so much fun and easy going (so are their family and friends!), and I invite you to enjoy a re-cap of their awesome Nashville wedding. Perhaps enjoy these with a gin & tonic or an old fashioned. 😉
