Looking for a great location for engagement photos in Nashville? Look no further! This past Spring, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Kelly & Nick all over this beautiful city! We started at Centennial Park where the colors of the landscape were so vibrant and everything was so new and alive. The yellows, reds, purples, and oranges were absolutely perfect with Kelly’s dress and Nick’s bowtie! The weeping willow tree at the water’s edge might be my favorite location at Centennial Park. I loooooooooove willows. Next up on our Nashville photography adventure was the “I Believe in Nashville” sign. I’ve seen this a lot on social media since I moved here, and it is kinda iconic, so we had to include it. I must say, I think I enjoyed the rickety house and empty lot with the chimney in the yard across the street even more. There is so much character on every single street in Nashville, I can’t get enough. We decided to end the engagement shoot on the Pedestrian Bridge overlooking the city. I love this location right at dusk because all of the building’s lights look so good – and the golden light over the river looks amazing.
Kelly & Nick are getting married in just TWO DAYS!! I have been wickedly excited for their day for over a year now. For the first time, I get to photograph some of my own family in a wedding party. My brother-in-law is Nick’s best man (also Nick’s brother) and my niece is the flower girl!!!! I seriously love this couple and their entire family! Oh, and my own kids will be in attendance at the wedding (first time ever). I know a lot of people are already arriving in Nashville for the wedding, so let’s get this party started!!
