Congratulations Narkeita and Ivan!

Alright, y’all. . . this FABULOUS fall Nashville Wedding at the Lodge was one of the best weddings of the year for us here at Melanie Grady Photography. The first time I visited The Lodge was also the first time I met Narkeita. We were at a bridal show at The Lodge that I was featured in – I was showcasing my work and meeting with lots of newly engaged brides and grooms-to-be. Narkeita and I immediately hit it off, and after the show she was one of the women that I could vividly remember talking to. She was so pretty in a gorgeous colorful dress, I could tell right away that she had great style! After she booked me for the wedding, we dove right into engagement session preparation and soon enough I was meeting Ivan for the first time and shooting their engagement portraits (which you can see here!). It was so obvious from that shoot that these two were madly in love. They were playful, passionate, and just fit perfect in one another’s arms. Speaking of arms – wait til you see Ivan’s! The man works out! haha.

As Narkeita and Ivan were in full planning mode, I found out that they had hired Angela Proffitt with Vivid Experiences as their wedding planner/coordinator. I couldn’t have been more excited to work with one of Nashville’s best wedding planners (with one of the best teams) because I knew the wedding would be absolutely stunning with impeccable style and romantic elegance. All of the vendors involved in this wedding absolutely delivered! The blush and white florals by Lauren Marie Designs were delightful and dreamy. Narkeita’s makeup was flawless by the amazing Kimberly Vareen of Face Fetish. Her jewelry was unbelievably beautiful and included Givenchy earrings and an engagement ring that would make any girl say yes! haha And just wait til you see Ivan’s diamond wedding band from Litman Jewelers! That thing is going to weigh his left hand down. Her blue Christian Louboutin pumps were probably the most amazing wedding shoes I’ve ever seen. They deserved a lot of attention. Lol. (Which I rightfully gave them.)

Bottom line is… when you look at this gorgeous Nashville wedding, you are going to see a man and a woman who are deeply in love, ready to start their life journey together, and excited to be surrounded by all of their loved ones to honor and observe their marriage. They committed their lives to one another in the most beautiful sunset ceremony and then had the best night of their lives celebrating their union.
