I’m so in love with this Cumberland Park Nashville engagement session. I met Bridget and George at the park, we strolled around through the pretty trees and eventually ended up on the Seigenthaler Bridge with the beautiful Nashville city skyline as our backdrop. Bridget’s great grandmother was a Seigenthaler so that brought some more meaning into the session. These two lovebirds met in Chattanooga in 2014 and now call Nashville home. These portraits really show how sweet their chemistry is… and how they fit so perfectly in each others arms. I really look forward to seeing how stunning they will be together on Saturday at the wedding!! Keep an eye out for sneak peeks on facebook and instagram!
This is just the beginning of their love story… Here’s how Bridget tells the story thus far…
“George and I met in the fall of 2014 through mutual friends. It was fun and new and after a few times hanging out, and me questioning if I was really into this younger guy (by 2 years), we went on a date and were officially dating after my birthday on December 14th. I then became a cougar! From then on we were always together and enjoyed hanging out with our friends, traveling together, meeting each other’s families, and cheering on the Vols together. George proposed June 1, 2017 on the pier in downtown Chattanooga. After a fun dinner and a surprise ice cream date, George got down on one knee. I was so surprised by the ring I thought it was fake and was going to toss it in the TN River. We called my family and then went to celebrate that evening with George’s parents. George is everything I have ever wanted in a husband and best friend. His tenacious spirit, love of life, and want to make sure I am taken care of in every way is why I fell in love with him. We bring out the best in each other and always have fun together.”
