Congratulations Victoria and Mikie!
This impressive Belle Meadows Farm wedding will leave you begging for more!! I had to be very selective when choosing which images to feature on the blog because there are so many incredible moments from the day that I want to share! Knowing how stunning and exquisite they both were for their sunrise engagement session (yes, she got her hair and makeup done at like 3:30am), I knew the wedding day was going to be absolutely jaw-dropping – and it was. Victoria and Mikie met in college and were instantly drawn to each other. They both knew it was true love pretty early on and even moved in together before professing the big L word. Their love blossomed over the years, and if times got rough, Victoria and Mikie always believed in one another and would never give up. They are fighters. I love that about them. They are both strong but also super sweet… they have passion for life and for each other that’s unmatched by most other people. Mikie proposed at his parent’s Christmas Eve party (same place he asked her out for the first time)… and the rest is history. But wait, the story gets better! About a month before the wedding, at Victoria’s bridal shower, she announced to the world that “the butterflies in my belly have turned into two small feet.” (ALL THE HEART EYES and HAPPY TEARS) You’ll see that we took a few sweet maternity inspired portraits after the ceremony that are heavenly. I’m so so so so so happy for these two… and can’t wait to take real maternity and newborn photos of baby A.
I asked Victoria about the wedding planning and the most memorable moments of their big day. She said, “Mikie will tell you I am a very dramatic person when it comes to everything. My personality, my style, everything is always over the top. So for our wedding I knew I wanted it to be dramatic and very romantic. I turned to pinterest for my inspiration. My favorite memory of the wedding is the way Mikie was looking at me every time I would look at him. I just saw pure love and happiness in his eyes, and I will never forget that. Another favorite memory was just how much fun everyone had. I felt like everyone was always laughing, dancing, and smiling.” – Girl!! Everyone had the BEST time at your wedding – I’ve never seen a reception with as many laughs (and bootie shaking).
