Congratulations Sheila and Eric!

It’s a little bit like a dream to be blogging about a wedding using the words “Maine Wedding Photographer”.   It was a surreal experience to be able to travel to the North East coast to photograph this destination wedding, and I am so excited to share the highlights with you!

Eric and Sheila’s journey started in college and has lasted four long-distance summers, one grad school degree, countless military twists, one shared apartment, one job search, one house, one new puppy, and their first deployment. Through it all, their love for each other has never wavered.
Eric and Sheila say they’re the living, breathing example of opposites attract. Sheila’s feisty, emotional, and an organized planner. Eric is more reserved, practical and enjoys spontaneity. But when there is something they struggle with, the other is always there to help them through it with love and dedication, plus their complementary personalities. In preparation for Eric’s deployment, they decided to make their marriage official and were legally married over a year ago. While it was a bummer not to have their families and friends surrounding them, they knew that a wedding was still in their future. They fulfilled that dream with a ceremony in Maine at one of the most beautiful places on earth, and while it was a little chilly by the seaside, the magic of the coastal location was absolutely beyond compare.

Sheila, Eric, and your families…  Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to discover and explore the southern coast of Maine.  It was a trip we will never forget and one I will always hold dear to my heart.  We enjoyed every minute of our time in Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, and York and can’t wait to go back!!
