Congratulations Rachel and Alex!!

This incredibly beautiful Saddle Woods Farm wedding is one I will never forget!!  A relationship that started as college friends in 2009 took a turn in a romantic direction in the summer of 2012, when Alex started asking Rachel out on dates.  She turned him down a couple of times, but eventually gave in.  Their love story really hit a high note when Alex proposed to Rachel on her Dad’s (and Grandfather’s) boat on the Cumberland River in downtown Nashville.  A sweet and heartfelt proposal in front of both of their families on the river (one of their favorite places) was absolutely perfect and Rachel of course said YES!

When wedding planning commenced, Rachel and Alex found the perfect venue (the beautiful and majestic Saddle Woods Farm) and dress (The White Room in Lebanon – high five for your gorgeous gowns!), and then added the design expertise and artistic vision of Regalo Design to help execute a beautiful and unforgettable day.  Sarah Goude and her team did an amazing job transforming the space into a lush and romantic setting.  They also found and booked me (which I was elated about, obviously) – but I was even more ecstatic about their wedding day after we shot the most perfect engagement session EVER in the cotton fields last fall – see those photos here.

Rachel and Alex’s ridiculous good looks are only matched by the inner beauty they both share.    Their friends and family are also some of the best I’ve worked with (Bridesmaids, y’all are so perfect, I’ll be waiting for your call when you get engaged!).  The day went by as flawless as a wedding day can, and I’m SO EXCITED to share just a small percentage of their photos here with you.  These are some of my favorites from their wedding day!  Rachel and Alex will have their entire gallery very soon, so be sure to ask them for the link to the gallery if you want to see those!
